Leading Today, Shaping Tomorrow

Greetings from Broome, where, at the time of writing, I am attending the Australian National Congress overlooking stunning Cable Beach in Western Australia.

Skål International Broome celebrated their 30th Anniversary. Around 140 Skålleagues and guests enjoyed the celebrations. We wish them well and congratulate this amazing Club on their success.

To follow on from my last message in January, your Executive Board continue to look at the future of Skål International. It is my intention to put together a group of National Presidents to collaborate on the way forward. We will succeed if we work on our future collectively. If you would like to join this group, I invite you to contact me in this email. We will meet via Zoom to discuss ideas from the various regions. 

My travels as World President start next month and will see me visiting New Zealand for their Annual National Assembly, World Travel Market Africa in Cape Town, Montevideo for the launching of the new joint Latin America Area Committee, North American Skål International Congress and finally the site inspection of venues for the Cuzco Skål International World Congress. I look forward to meeting as many Skålleagues as I can along the way and having meaningful discussions on the future of this great organisation.
